# File Messages

Move, copy, or archive selected messages in Mail to the designated mailbox. Archiving messages or filing messages from Gmail accounts requires the installation and activation of the MsgFiler Filing Script.

| Parameters    | Description                            |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| Filing Action | Move, copy, or archive.                |
| Mailbox       | The mailbox to file the messages into. |

| Returns | Description                                        |
| ------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Boolean | True if the filing action succeeded. Error if not. |
