# Account-Specific Settings

Starting in MsgFiler 4.1.0, you can now specify account-specific filing method settings for each of your [Gmail accounts](https://docs.msgfiler.com/onboarding/gmail). This is useful if one of your accounts has problems with the Archive and File method or if another account cannot Direct File.

1. Open **MsgFiler Settings**.
2. Click **Filing Settings**.
3. Make a note of the default **Gmail filing method**.
4. Click **Account-Specific Settings**.

5. Set the desired filing method settings for each of your accounts.&#x20;
6. Click **Done**.
